5th Annual CSFP High School Workshop For Students and Families

Oct 22, 2014

On October 11, CSFP hosted its 5th annual High School Workshop at West Catholic High School. The event drew more than 200 CSFP 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, and their parents, for informational sessions about the transition to high school. Representatives from private, public, and charter high schools discussed strategies for applying to and succeeding in high school. A high school fair followed the workshops.

Parents participated in a panel discussion and Q&A session focused on high school selection, admission, and tuition planning, while students attended a separate session focused on high school expectations, preparedness, and best practices for applying to and interviewing at high schools. Both sessions concluded with financial literacy presentations generously provided by longtime CSFP supporter –  PNC Bank.

We thank West Catholic High School for hosting this event, as well as PNC,  our featured presenters and representatives from area high schools, for their help in making this event a success!
